Timeline Considerations
Fixed timelines, clear delivery windows.
GigBig uses predefined timelines based on the service model you select. There are no open-ended projects — execution is structured and time-bound from the start.
Two timeline models
- Single Service: predefined delivery window
- Team Service: fixed package duration (days)
- No undefined or open-ended timelines

Timeline in Single Service
- Timeline is predefined for the service
- Delivery duration shown before purchase
- Milestones structured within fixed timeframe
- Expert works within agreed schedule
This means:
- You know exactly when delivery happens
- No uncertainty about duration
- Execution follows a fixed window
Revisions within scope are handled inside the defined timeline. Significant scope changes require formal approval for timeline adjustment.
Timeline in Team Service
- Team provided for a fixed number of days
- Timeline equals selected package duration
- Work executed within that engagement period
- PM structures tasks to fit allocated days
For example:
- 15-day package → 15 structured working days
- 30-day package → full 30-day allocation
The timeline is determined by the package — not by undefined deliverable completion.
What if more time is needed?
- Structured review is conducted
- Additional time requirements assessed
- Timeline extension must be approved
- Budget adjustments may apply
There are no automatic extensions.
Timeline discipline & oversight
